Erica Hagen is an American actress possibly best known for the films "Thunderbolt and Lightfoot" and "Soylent Green." Not much is known about her life and career. It is known she was born on June 6, 1946, possibly in Southern California, but this is unconfirmed. Her first TV role was in the series "Banachek," followed by roles in "Barnaby Jones," "The FBI" and the movie, "Soylent Green." In 1973 and 1974, she was in two back-to-back movies, "The Last American Hero" and "Thunderbolt and Lightfoot," with Jeff Bridges and Clint Eastwood. She had several roles in "Love, American Style," but her acting roles were mostly in episodic 70s police procedurals, including but not limited to "The Bob Newhart Show," "Police Woman," "McCloud," "Adam-!2" and "Mannix." She had two roles on the popular Kroft TV-Show, Land of the Lost in 1974 as the mother of Holly Marshall and Will Marshall and then as an adult Holly from the future. Appearing later in "S.W.A.T.," "Petrocelli," "Ellery Queen," "Baretta," "Holmes and Yoyo," "Kojak," "Operation Petticoat," "Quincy M.E." and "Chips," she also played an Amazon in the iconic two-part episode, "The Feminum Mystique" on "Wonder Woman" alongside Lynda Carter and veteran actors Carolyn Jones and John Saxon. She also had roles in the 1976 movies, "Mother, Jugs & Speed" with Raquel Welch and "Silent Movie" by Mel Brooks.
In 2015, Erica wrote the foreword for "Lost Girl: The Truth and Nothing But the Truth So Help Me, Kathleen," written by her "Land of the Lost" co-star, Kathy Coleman. Sadly, she passed away on September 15, 2018 in West Hollywood, California. She was 73.
