Summary

A mysterious woman calling herself "Rani" steps through a time door and gives Holly advice on dealing with her fears.

Plot

The Marshalls are navigating through the caves under The Lost City in order to try and figure out how the Crystals can help them get home. Rick knows that the right combination of crystals will make the door home appear, but they have to find out the right combination of crystals and determine if a door does appear if it is the right door. Throughout this process, they work to avoid the Sleestak.

Meanwhile, Holly is feeling like a grown-up, but her father and brother, she feels, aren't treating her as such. Holly finds some Pylon markings in the cave and a tunnel leading to a small hole. She wants to help in finding where the hole leads, but again Rick and Will feel it's too dangerous for her to help them.

After she and the boy's are separated while running from the Sleestak, Holly runs into a Human woman. A person she's never seen in the Land of the Lost before. The woman appears friendly, calling herself "Rani", who seems to be able to come and go at will through appearing and disappearing doors.

Holly ultimately realizes Rani is in fact a future version of herself. Rani convinces her by showing Holly her scar that she got saving Will. Rani then gives Holly three communication medallions, which show when one of the Marshalls is in danger. Holly then uses them to get past the Sleestak to rescue her brother and father. She gets a scar from the pit which makes her realize Rani is herself from the future.
